You Get What You Ask For

Today I went to the hospital due to a minor anxiety attack. It has been almost 2 months since I last had one.

I don’t have patience in waiting rooms, especially hospitals. I found my ways of getting service quicker.

In the first two hours, I attempted to leave, then returned to show up. So I told the counter guy to find me a cabin faster because I was feeling very unwell. Or at least I exaggerated it. Then I came back desperately, waited, wondering why it took so long. They told me they closed my file. Next, I went to see the doctor, blablablah. He then wrote me off. Then I did call mother several times to no avail. After many attempts, I realized that she may never answer before the next day or 8 PM, I asked the inscription guy if it was possible to get a bed and he declined. So I waited a little, called my own mother again several times, to no avail.

So I pulled a waiting ticket and explained that my own mther rarely answers to calls from an unknown phone number. I affirmed to the nurses, and the inscription guy that I would not accept waiting any longer and that I really fcould use a bed. They kept telling me to wait. So I did. Kinda.

Then, I tried at 4:30 PM to call my mother again, and by great surprise, she answered. As I exited the phone room, the nurses were going to possibly tell me that I got a bed, but I told them I was leaving for once.

All of that lasted almost five hours.

You get what you want when you ask for it.
